Hi! My lucky bamboo arrived today...so carefully packaged. Beautiful stalks in great condition. They will go in small square vases that I hand etched with various bamboo designs, and some moss green stones. My father will be thrilled...for his big 80th birthday party. Thanks!

I admit I was hesitant at first to place an order on-line especially for a living plant! I was so pleasantly surprised when I received my package. Over 200 lucky bamboos were packaged so neatly in small bunches with moisture beads, rubberbands, and plastic wrap. They were very easy to handle and stayed hardy and green. The DHL carrier was great too. I requested them to call me at my home to confirm the delivery which included the exact time the package was left at my door. I had a wonderful experience with Kaptiva Imports. I do suggest ordering the metallic wire that goes around the plant as just decorative touch. A very small rubberband is easier to hold them together and in place with the river rocks.

I chose your site and looked at it many times before deciding to order the Birthday Cake Lucky Bamboo arrangement. I could not figure out how a live plant could be in transit 4-5 days and still be alive. It was and did not have a dead leaf on it. The side which was lying in the box was a bit flatter than the top side, but now, after only a week has straightened up and shaped beautifully. I am impressed with the plant, your extremely prompt follow up to my questions, and the constant information provided me about transit.

I was researching to buy Luck Bamboo and found your site several months ago, looking at it several times before I finally purchased. The bamboo arrived last night and I was very impressed, it was in beautiful condition. The leaves were lush and a vibrant green, the stalks were very healthy, and their delicate root system was so carefully wrapped in plastic sacs filled with moisture beads and then wrapped in plastic wrap and banded by rubber bands. They were perfectly protected in foam peanuts, They unpacked easily, and I suggest the foil wire as a decorative touch. I only have one disappointment, you forgot my 2 decorative charms, this was a gift for my boyfriend and I needed to ship it out to him for 12 Aug 07. I called immediately when they arrived at 7:48pm EST and left a message, no one returned my call. Today I called 4 times and have still not received a call back. Despite this, I have placed another order, and had hoped to talk with you so you could include the 2 charms you forgot in the first order… I’m hoping you won’t disappoint me with your customer service.

I ordered my lucky bamboo so I would recieve it a week before they suggested. I received beautiful stalks or that had growth on them,even some very new growth on them most of them. They were very well packed although they used packing peanuts(not a fan of those) but I'm not sure those could be substituted. We had them for 2 weeks before the wedding and they held up nice. If you have a cat you need to block it from the cat.(Mine thought they were for her.) It takes some time to cut wire and tie the stalkes together. Allow lots of time. Hi, Folks! Got home from wk. tonight (Friday) to the box of bamboo. Opened & all looks just great. Took down to basement & unwrapped all Saran, shook off gel, & rinsed in downstairs tub the pkts. w/well water (no chlorine). Put in about 2" of well water in a Coleman cooler, all stood up next to each other, & left in tub w/lid of cooler open. Nice & cool/darkish down there, & think all will be well til' we pkg. in our glass planters with little rocks. Can't say enough about the quality/freshness/looks of all plants. Love it, love it, love it!!

I ordered the two tier birthday cake bamboo with glass vase and added the plant food and a vial of beads. WOW! The plant arrived VERY well packed and is absolutely gorgeous! The beads were more than enough to fill the vase and the whole process was fabulous! I had read reviews and was still worried about buying live plants online, but the local nursery was charging $12 a stem for bamboo and it was just too much. Now I am definitely a loyal customer. BUYER BEWARE!

I ordered 8 twelve packs and my first issue was that they did not have all the color pots I wanted so I had to order other colors....not that big of a deal. Everything arrived nicely packed, the plants were in good shape, but the pots looked like crap...really I could have painted them and they would have come out much better. I arranged the bamboo with gravel in the pots myself and watered them...when I checked on them a few days later I couldn't believe that they looked like they needed to be watered again. I lifted one pot up off the table and the table and bottom of the pot were soaked. In fact everything was wet...all 96 pots had water seaping out of the bottom!!! I contacted the company and they told me in order to get a refund I needed to ship everything back. Well considering I already set up all 96 pots with the bamboo and ... Pots are low quality. I ordered 96 and they ALL leaked!

I ordered 300 4" Bamboo in vials as wedding favors. I requested delayed shipping with very specific instructions. The bamboo arrived exactly as was requested and even a little early. When the package arrived they were in perfect condition, they have a wonderful way of shipping the bamboo to keep them fresh and safe. They have grown so much in just 4 days and are so healthy. FANTASTIC

I purchased 84 lucky bamboo pots for my sister's Bridal Shower. They arrived exactly on the date that we asked them to, and were sent tracking updates on the packages. The bamboo were all healthy. The pots were well made and didn't look cheap. We brought one 4" and one 6" bamboo for each pot. Every single bamboo arrived healthy and was in excellent condition. In fact, some even grew larger in the short time before the bridal shower. The plants were a HUGE hit at the shower. Everyone was very excited to take one home. Baby Shower

This is a wonderful company. This past week, I had a baby shower and I had 60 (6") in the test tubes. They were a present for the guests from the soon to be baby thanking them for coming and instructions for caring for the bamboo. The bamboo arrived on time and they were beautiful. It was not hard to place them in the tubes. I had my own votive holders and pea pebbles. I just tied a raffia ribbon around it with the note from the baby. I fully recommend this site and have recommended it to everyone at the shower. What a wonderful feeling it was to give the Lucky Bamboo.

Great product

After several e-mails regarding availability of 4" stalks, I placed an order for 100 4" and 50 6" stalks to be used as favors for my daughter's bridal shower. They came exactly when promised and were in great condition. All had healthy roots and leaves. A few extra stems were even included! I made a 3 stalk presentation in a hard plastic cup with tiny marble chips and tied a piece of tulle around the cup. Gorgeous presentation! I would not hesitate to order again!

Terrific Service & Bamboo

Absolutely terrific service. The 18" bamboo stalks that I ordered were healthy and all had approximately the same amount of growth. They arrived 2 days after I placed my order. Better Than Expected

I placed an order online for delayed shipment. I ordered a party arrangement with 3 stalks (2 short and 1 long). I also had them tie with the gold twisty, rocks, and label. The plants came well packaged and healthy. They were larger than I had thought and in perfect health. buyluckybamboo.com sent more rocks than needed and even an extra arrangement of bamboo just in case. We have been buying our bamboo from Buy Lucky Bamboo for going on 3 years! We love it and so do many of our customers! I would never think of going anywhere else for ours. We had tried others but they cannot compare! If I ever had a problem it was fixed asap! I only had 1 mishap in all these years and it was just something not packed right, the same day they sent me out what i was missing GREAT PEOPLE!!!!!

Baby shower

I ordered the 24 item package and put the plants in the pots myself. I bought the stone from a local craft shop. It was fun to do. It was a unique gift for a baby shower, one that you can keep and grow for a long time. Everyone loved the gift, I even kept one for myself! i plan on ordering more for Christmas presents for my staff at work.

My order was shipped quickly and packaged with delicate care. Even the packing slip was personalized. The plants are healthy with roots wrapped with hydrating gel. The price allowed me to arrange something nice for my desk. Thanks again and I will recommend to friends.

Not a happy customer

This is my first time ordering from this website. The ordering processes was painless and the items shipped fast. However, when I received my package items were missing from my order AND I received sick plants. I sent customer service a message and after a few days, I still have not received a response. I am NOT a happy customer and would like these issues resolved. Once resolved I will be more than happy to revise my review.
